I've just hd a thought about what the examiners will be doing at present to get our results ready for the 25th. I envisage that all the papers will have been marked long ago and coursework moderated.

Found this today - it should make an interesting rehttp://www.aqa.org.uk/over/script.htmlad:

Well, the results must reach the schools on the 22nd (Monday) and be released on the 25th (Thursday).

This is the last week they get before having to send the results slips out over the weekend (20/21), to the schools. So the actual results will probably be 99% decided by now (along with grade boundries) and the process of checking/correction and printing must be going on, as we speak.

    This Step : http://www.aqa.org.uk/over/script/what_09.html

The scripts have already been marked, checked, scores have been entered into computers, grade boundires have been made and now everything is being checked again and being prinited.

    I assume lol.

That's interesting - I didn't know that schools receieve the results on the 22nd; I thought it was the day before, so that would be Wednesday 24th. I'm not sure about that though.

It's weird how all the schools are saying different things, surely its the same procedure everywhere? Maybe it is, but the schools all say different things depending on what they feel like telling us! Or maybe it just depends on our local postage systems? Either way, we all get them on the 25th - guess that's what matters.

We were told that our results were collected from the Post Office early in the morning on the 25th!

Thats because, if you were to find out that the results were infact inside the school building on 22nd or 23rd, you would probably find the nearest brick and smash the school windows and tumble inside. Once your inside you would probably open the door to allow your hundreds of friends in and feast on your results. I think its for safety precautions that your not informed of this...

I rekon this would happen! especially with all the anxious 15/16 year olds out there!
