I used to play the cello but had to give up when I left school as I couldn't afford to buy one of my own

the oboe ie. the Hovis ad instrument.

Was very tough at the outset, but definitely worth the effort of 6 years- sounds like it's meant to. It is an endangered instrument according to the BBC: not enough people are taking it up.

guitar- acoustic and air.

Trumpet and French Horn.

Piano, tenor horn and cornet, but they're not orchestral instruments. Would like to learn to play the cello.

I'm not musical, the only sort of beat I can make is by banging on the table, and even that sounds bad.

I played violin in the school orchestra for 4 years, but I gave it up when I went to uni coz I wasn't good enough to audition for the uni orchestra. Really regret it now tho, I had a great time playing at school.

Yeah!

Funky. Talking of beats, if I had to start playing an instrument it'd probably be the drums because it involves hitting things.
