Marks? A question for the guys

With this obsession with looking 'perfect' nowadays, I just wondered how many guys( or girls, but I'm asking from a girls perspective) would feel less attracted to a person if they had marks. I think that these days, a lot of girls( especially me!) feel really inadequate when we see portraits of women with flawless skin in movies and music videos. In particular, those Hip Hop videos. I mean how can a girl have such a big bum with absolutely no stretch marks? Either there has been a lot of camera and make-up work, or I'm the only girl who is slim and still has lodsa strech marks on my buttocks!
So guys if you were to go out with a girl, and you were thinking she was really hot, but then when you got intimate you realsied she was far from perfect, as in she had random marks, ie strech marks, acne marks in certain places, would you still feel as attracted to her?

if a guy had marks dont think it would bother me, most people go deeper than that, all depends on the guy and how he sees things
i fall for a guy based on many things, lack of marks not being one so sure it wont be an issue

yea...no one has perfect skin. all TV people are faked up...ever seen pics of britney spears without all the war paint? shes a right ruffion.

spots and stretch marks wouldnt annoy me unless they were way OTT. if i thought a girl was attractive its unlikely some acne would make me think they were less attractive.

Very few people have mark/scar free bodies. I know I certainly don't. I dislike my skin a lot, apart from my face which admittedly is nice in complexion due to good quality products that I use.

When I was about 13/14 I had acne all over my back, and although it hasn't marked much, it has a bit and I've tried everything to cover it up. In the end I realised there was no point, I am me and everyone has their quirky features anyway.

i think most guys look at a girl as an overall package... so as long as the girl is generally good looking and good personality and all that.. the guy will be attracted to her... as well as this the overall goodlooking-ness will cause no need for concern for these marks.. just as long as they arent hugely changing the image of the person

I would answer this question but I think it is better if I tell you to not worry so much.

I know, I think I do  I guess we all have our little insecurities, thats just one of mine.
In all honesty, I really don't care about that at all. I mean, stretch marks are perfectly acceptable, especially if one is slim. Don't worry about it. If I a guy likes you, it won't be the stretchmarks that will turn him off... and if they are... to hell with him. I would never ditch a girl just because I saw she has stretchmarks.

Just don't let it make you go nuts and you will be just fine.

Oh and as for the original question, you don't really think they would try to make sure to get Brittany Spears' stretch marks smack in the middle on the screen, do you? I know for sure if I were to broadcast a video of myself all across the globe, I would not zoom in at the weird black hair that is growing out of one of my birth marks. :p:

It would probably affect me in some way but I would definately still feel attracted. Atleast for me after deciding I like a girl or find her attractive it takes a lot to change my mind.

I don't think it matters one bit, not at all.

Guys have marks as well. At least as girls we know how to cover them up.

Why should we cover up our action-man-esque cheek scars? I thought you ladies loved the 'rugged' look.

My girlfriend is perfect, she has stretch marks (she's had a baby), blemishes etc, but that doesn't stop her from being perfect (much more perfect than me anyway).

I think some young guys need to take the planks out of their own proverbial eyes before picking splinters out of young ladies' eyes.
trivial stuff like this doesnt matter. if u like the person...all this wouldnt even fig in the head. :p:

Aww you're such a sweetie

My boyfriend has lots of scars but they don't bother me at all. I love him how he is.

Hey there Nina. You know what's so fulfilling about some relationships - you know some of your partner's insecurities and are totally comfortable with them - love them just the way they are. Put another way, how can a "perfect" woman be sure she's liked for herself and something more superficial? Our little "imperfections" add reality and make it much easier for us to see the genuine people in our lives.

If someone is going to think less of you for having marks on your skin, then their not worth knowing anyway.

I think most marks (as long as you can tell there's a girl behind it!) are cute!

most girls have some marks though..u see all those photos in magazines showing celebs like beyonce and they have stretch marks. Just shows that no one is perfect!

i love it when you get pictures of celebs in mags and they have been caught with cellulite on their legs.... its unfortunate but like hazzawazza said, no1 is perfect! It makes me feel a whole lot better though!
