Is there anyone who doesn't like Michael Jackson's music?

I do like him myself, but I'm just curious to hear if there is anyone who doesn't, particularly those who say they don't like pop music. Since he's been so mega famous and popular worldwide for the past few decades, I have hardly heard anything but praise for his great music. The only bad things I've heard about him is stuff like his mental health, his physical appearance, his supposed child molesting, ish like that. This isn't a thread to slate him or anything, just curious. I've heard of some people saying Lady GaGa is the next Michael Jackson, yet I have seen as much hate for her as love from the public. That's just an example, but yeah, what are your opinions?

i don't like his music. just not my thing. i don't think it's bad but i wouldn't listen to it out of choice.

I don't like really dislike his music, it just really doesn't do anything for me at all, and no way deserves the praise and hype IMO. But I would neverlike have anything against people liking him.

I'm sure there were loads of bandwagon jumpers who only started liking/listening to his music after his death, though before they were happy to call him pedo and such. As for people not liking his music, there are loads around.

The music that he actually wrote felt too predictable to me, but I can see how it may appeal to other (less jaded) people. Though I do think his personal **** made him more of an 'icon' than his songs.

I'm not a fan of most of his stuff (there are a couple that I like).

Thriller is the single most overrated song of all time. I absolutely hate it. I hate Halloween and how everyone plays it and thinks it's so amazing. It's awful and every copy of it should be destroyed. :smile:

My friend doesn't like him, he likes stuff like bowie, the stones, dylan etc.
I'm not too fond of jackson either, bit overhyped to be honest and he was a freak!

I like Billie Jean, but haven't yet found another song of his that I like. I don't really know why; it's a lot like The Beatles - I can't explain why I don't like their music, I just don't find it enjoyable to listen to.
