I'm wondering the same thing...have also been told freeview doesn't work which completely sucks...what am I gonna do about the OC?!!! :bawling:

Ah well, the TV signal wasn't so great at my last uni and we made do...didn't actually watch it very much in fact and opted for films instead.

The TV signal on campus is pretty crap. The communal areas in the East Slope flats had aerial sockets which gave a fairly good signal, not sure if Lewis Court would have the same.

To be honest I didn't miss TV very much in my first year although it was good to have it in the second and third.

i just finished my first year at sussex...i lived in lewes court phase 2 and i am happy to report that the tv signal is just fine! all the channels were fine, i think its one of the only places on campus where tv signals are alright. the phone signal crap though, you have to hang out the window to get any reception! (thats only for phase 2 though, its fine in phase 1)

good good as just bought a new 24in widescreen TV as my old crappy one isn't NTSC compatible and didn't work too well with my dvd player and it didn't have scart sockets and the new one has two. was a bargain at £135.00 including VAT and delivery
