lol, running 7 miles is more difficult than cycling 18.

The hardest aspect is fitting it with gym and work lol


Its good to hear that you're getting back to training.

physio is 5th of may so i'm sure she is great but not sure yet :wink:

You alright then haha? I came off last time i was moutain biking, I came off on large tyre size hole but landed in moss so it was soft thank god haha

There was a peculiarly placed rock on a down hill section. I was cycling flatout and caught it with my back wheel, one barrel role later, i was on my back and the bike, still between my legs, had rammed hard on my left quad. So now its just sore. Did some unweighted jump squats just and it seems ok.

My mate went full whack into a tree shoulder first and broke his collar bone once :lol: he was doing an expert run just without enough expertise!

DB Bulgarian Split Squat, 22.5kg, 8 8 8 8
Romanian Deadlift, 85kg, 10 10 10 PB
Decline Situp, +17.5kg, 10 10 10 PB

Additional Notes;

I set this workout back a day due to my leg issue from the other day. All felt fine and couldve got a few more reps out of the front squat.
ME Upper

Incline BB Bench, 50kg, 3 New Excercise
DB Bench Press, 22.5kg, 12 10 PB

DB Rows, 22.5kg, 12 12 12 PB
supersetted with
DB Rear Delt Flyes, 9kg, 10 10 12 PB

DB Shrugs, 37.5kg, 10 10 10 PB
BB Curls, 25kg, 10 10 10 8 PB

Additional Notes;

Good session, decided to give incline bb a go.
Cardiovascular Excercise

7 mile cycling at approx 10am
7 mile run at approx 10pm

Chins, uw, 10 10 8 PB
supersetted with
rear delt flyes, 9kg, 12 12 12 PB

DB Press, 17.5kg, 8 8 8 PB

DB Shrugs, 37.5kg, 12 12 12 10 PB
supersetted with
DB Curls, 12.5kg, 8 8 8 8 PB

Additional Notes;

Everything was fine, but twisted wrist slightly on the incline bench so stopped earlier than idve liked to.
Football Training

2 half hour 5 a-side games.

The first game was easier, as we had the better team and were given more space to play freely, this meant more technical play and more movement in general. The second game was more difficult, and i had to hold more as a centre back. Enjoyed both games though.
ME Lower B

Front Squat, 70kg, 3 PB
Light High bar Back Squat, 90kg, 5
DB Split Squats, [per DB] 25kg, 6 6 5 PB
Glute Ham Raise, +5kg, 8 8 8 New Excercise
Decline Situp, +20kg, 10 10 10 PB

Additional Notes;

Did light back squat as i missed a lower session at the weekend. First time GHR, will inevitably shoot up higher, the situps are starting to get harder. Good session.
