Oh yeah, absolutely! I've been having horrible problems with it lately and I'm struggling to try and get myself in a normal pattern!
all the time. Im notoriously late at going to bed. I was even like that a bit during uni. No idea why.

Definitely. I don't have to get up first thing in the morning so I can't seem to stop myself from staying up (tis even worse atm because i've been worrying about results)

No worries, it'll go back to normal after the holidays

3 months of nothing really ****s you up!

Ive started taking nightol herbal at night, so I feel tired. Im sleeping at about 12 now instead of 3-4.
I'm suffering from severe lack of sleep. I hate it. I feel so rough at the moment because if last night. The last time I looked at the clock it was about 6:45am and then just before 8am I had a "night terror" and was running along the landing and of course I was too scared to go back to bed so I decided to stay awake. It's horrible. Maybe it's stress, I don't know.

I'm totally knackered at the moment. It's 'cos I only got 3 hours sleep on saturday and thus was tired on sunday, but couldn't sleep sunday night due to results worries. I also cycled 25 miles this morning so I am totally dead. I need an early night tonight as I'm out all day tomorrow.
Yeh same as the above, iv been sleeping loads later and that means i get up later, so therefore i cant sleep until late the following day, and a horrible pattern emerges. but even tho i get roughly the same hrs of sleep, im still more tired.

Phew-it's not just me!

I'd be the same if I didn't have work. In fact, I'm like that whenever I don't need to get up early. Even more at uni.

you wil be alright, i guess most people get like that. I know i used to, its just a phase.

Don't know what to advise, but just wanted to say I'm the same. Keep going to bed really late (ok not as late, or early!, as 4am) even though I'm really tired by about 10/11pm and then have to get up really early in the morning to "puppy-sit" while parents are at work. The problem is even if I force myself to go to bed earlier, I can't sleep and just lay awake thinking of things (I've always had a problem in that I can't clear my mind when I'm in bed). Anyways, the lack of sleep over the past few weeks as caused me to feel a bit run-down and now I think I'm coming down with something (yucky throat and feeling exhausted) so hopefully can make myself go to bed by 11pm or so.

I've never been a good sleeper at all! But when I had something on my mind such as exams, exams results, driving tests, and stuff likle that I lie awake for hours! I think you'll only get a good nights sleep if you clear your mind, easier said than done I know! Maybe have a hot bath with lavender, or read a book, or light some candles but make sure you put em out before oyu go to sleep! If all else fails and its seriously affecting your life, go and see a doctor, they might have more suggestions. Also, once you get yourt results and you've done fabulous, you'll probably sleep for a full 12 hours then wake up and get into a normal routine again!

Yeah im like that. Im sorta nocturnal. Cant help it though, its so much better at night because theres nobody around to annoy you and i just dont feel tired. I do make up for it by waking up at like 12/1 o clock in the afternoon.

I am the same.

I think I'll follow your suggestion tomorrow night and thursday because I need to be up super early and wide enough to drive (safely) the following days.

My clock is attrocious at the moment, I sleep for 12 hours a day without faul, and go to bed at about 9am at the moment..waking up at 9pm! So yeh, I just woke up. Thing is I can easily wake up to get out of bed at a reasonable hour, but I just HATE feeling tired, it is the worst feeling in the world, so I always just carry on sleeping until I get the full 12.

I seem to have got myself into a terrible mess. My sleep patterns have just gone crazy. Even if I'm tired I don't go to sleep until really late (or early should i say) and just mess around watching movies or reading poetry. I'm crazy. I only do this in the holiday but I must stop. Does anyone else's sleep pattern go wrong in the holidays?

Its not a terrible mess, I cant get to sleep before half 5 ive been like this for every holiday I have and in term time its 2am lol. Ive not been in bed before 12.00 for at least a year its weird. Everyone thinks im real lazy cause im in bed all day sometimes though im bouncing about to music all night. I need to sort myself out and get a job though

Im exactly the same dont your parents nag you like hell for it? I cant stand being tired so Im always making a desision between going back to sleep and being awake all night again or suffering all day to sleep properly at night, ive hardly ever chose the latter thats my problem.
