Doies anyone know this? I have checked the packaging but there is no mention of the caffeine content and no where on the internet not even their official site!
A wide variation of caffeine levels (excluding decaffeinated samples) were observed: tea ranged from less than 1 mg to 90 mg of caffeine per serving (mean 40 mg)
I've done investigation and in PG tea bag containing 2.9 g of a tea leafs. (Determination of caffeine concentation via UV spec -> dichloromethane). It shows that tea bag brewed for 3 minutes in 200 ml of boiling water contain 40.1 mg of caffeine -> 0.21 mg per ml.
@Tiger Rag So, caffeine content magically goes up or down over time? Caffeine content isn't relevant after 7 years? 11 years later I have the same question, and now I have 2 data points at ~40mg instead of 1.
Instead of arbitrarily complaining about dates, maybe you could contribute or say thanks to people providing valuable information?
