Boohoo returns, please help!

I bought 2 dresses from boohoo.com on the 13th, sent them back on the 16th. I read through their returns info and it said that I had to write them a letter first to inform them I wanted to return (what?!) otherwise I would have to pay £1 for them having to restock it or something. I decided to just pay the quid so returned without writing to them - but I did fill out the online form it tells you to.
Anyway, it'll be 2 weeks tomoz since I returned/posted it, yet online it still says my return is processing. I've emailed them twice with no reply so I'm starting to get worried. I checked my tracking for the parcel and royal mail say
"Item ************* was posted at 30 Arndale Centr LS6 2UQ on 16/03/10 and is being progressed through our network for delivery". So I have no idea what's going on. For some reason the tracking number on boohoo for my return is the same as when it was coming to me so when I click on it it just tells me about when it was delivered to me, but fortunately I've got a different - correct - one from Royal mail.

Aaah so stressful, should I be worried?

I returned a dress to boohoo last summer and had no problems, had to wait 7-10days for my money back tho. I just repackaged the dress in the bag it came in and stuck the label on the front, can't remember if I had to pay any p&p or admin fees...

I returned a top to Boohoo not long ago - don't worry the money will come back :smile: if it isn't in your account in 5-7 days then give them a ring I would say?
I'm returning two dresses I bought from there tomorrow! What a coincidence haha

mine was 'processing' for ageeeeeeees and when they finally refunded me they didnt refund my p and p even though it was their fault that the dress was faulty grr so i rang them and eventually got my money back, not buying from them ever again

i've never had any problems, or had to write to them and inform them :/ usually takes about a week for the money to go back in.. maybe ring them? companies like that are awful for replying to emails, so i've found!!

i also sent back a top when they sent me the wrong item, and they did refund my P+P.. despite the fact i ordered three other things with it, so effectivly got free delivery on those too! resulttt.

I work for Boohoo Customer Services, please do not worry as it can take up to 21 days for us to get your parcel back and fully process the return and refund to show in your account. If you haven't had your account credited after 21 days please let us know and we can investigate further. If you have your proof of return from the Post Office we'll just need the barcode number.

We are open as normal over the whole Easter weekend so please give us a call if you have any queries.

I returned goods to you on Monday 21st. Sept. And am still awaiting a refund. This is a terrible way to run a business.

I waited 3 1/2 weeks for my money back,so I wouldn't be expecting your money back instantly

Same thing happened to me. They just take really long, there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

Never ordering from there again though.

boohoo, besides being very slow to refund [money kept for longer is interest for them], are DELIBERATELY breaking the law by REFUSING to refund original postage. DISGRACEFUL.
