No. It's a very bad idea - the chances of you actually making money are minute. Go to university or get a real job.

You are making a mistake. Start with some experience here, then build it up and move if the going is good.

It's a compliment. Alternatively, I could put something else, as you will...

If it's what you really want to do then you should go for it.

Can I get your name first please? I just want to know what to look for in the B-Grade porn flicks my brother rests his bed on. (Assuming he still does that of course) The chances of making it as an actor because you moved are slim to **** all. Do some drama classes in the UK, work your way up. If you want it bad enough, you'll get there.

Don't mean to discourage you anymore than anyone else does, but they're right: very slim chance.

Most people get in cuz their parents started them at a young age. If I were you I'd get a job somewhere really good- save up- and at the same time look out for auditions. *shrugs* that's what I'm doing when I get older.. I would really like to go to an acting uni, but my parents would *never* let me~* I say, "rather be happy than wake up every morning grumbling, 'I hate this job, I hate this job, I hate..'" If you're really really really good at acting then if you go to the uni, someone will have to have noticed you (if you're really really really good..). Then again~lotz of competition.

I think a lot of the big-name actors these days are just lucky (w/ talent of course)..they were in the right place at the right time.

If your heart is in it, then go for it. Just keep in mind it is a long hard road, and very few succeed, have a backup plan in case you don't make it. Be prepared to work hard for it and live with the bare necessities. Be open to rejection and critisism. And be willing to accept failure. There is nothing wrong with following your dreams. Look at it this way even if you don't make it, 30 yrs from now you have the experience to look back on and you have the satisfaction of knowing you tried.
I wish you all the success in the world, just remember me when you accept your first emmy!

*applauds* excellent speech! (I enjoyed it) Yea- I wouldn't want to grow up and think, "If only I had taken that chance..what if blah blah blah" <--you know- the whole "what if" 's and all that.
