is it possible without going insane??

i'm going into my third year of uni and im off on erasmus, ive already had my independence lciing away from home but ive been offered accomodation at my host uni abroad for £70 per month but i have to share a room (that is fairly small) now this rent is rediculously cheap so my quesiton is is it worth loosing my independence (and possibly my sanity) for 6 months in order to save a big wad of cash towards travelling and my 4th year or should i just get off my backside and try and find a house/flat with other foreign students. im really in two minds and because i am the only person from my uni going to that country i would quite like the security of knowing i have a fixed address to go to ummmm what do i do????

It would drive me insane after about five minutes, let alone six months.

Incidentally, where are you going ?
