...when i went, it wasn't too bad! It was pretty safe near the uni imo. But i've only been once!

I think it's based on crime rates of cities. Hence:
1. Nottingham
2. Hull
3. Leeds
4. Manchester
5. Teeside
6. Birmingham

Im from leeds and i have never felt unsafe there - i love the place - seriously it will be fine - be street wise and it will all be good :p:

God knows what it is based on. There are no links to any of the data. The Barclays website does not refer to it at all. 156 incidents per thousand students - is that actually on campus? I doubt it. Are all 156 incidents committed against students?

Lots of unanswered questions. I have to say the Nottingham's campus is very safe, there is not a lot of crime on it at all.

I suspect this is tosh, or at least a gross misrepresentation of the findings.
