Most are pretty strict, and wont even budge by one grade sometimes. So no.

She doesn't stand much of a chance. Has she considered reapplying next year for medicine with a foundation year? She would probably have a much better chance that way

She went to the uni, they said they will contact her in 2days and make a decission. She totaly thinks its over.
Mayb shes right but why would they give false hope?

Its highly unlikely but its still possible. For medicine, they interview students and give them an 'interview mark' and a general appraisal - if they really loved her they might want her, even with those grades.

If she got those grades, maybe she just isn't cut out for Medicine - it is a very demanding field.

I'd be amazed if someone was let in with BBC, put it that way

I think I read somewhere that Manchester consider re-sit applications from people who already received an offer from them and who achieved no less than BBC.

There is hope.... but you have to get AAA after the re-sits.

A few people in my year have BBB, but they have pretty good reasons for why they do.

Sorry to hear she didn't make the grades, though I think the chances of acceptance are incredibly slim (and that's being optimistic I'm afraid!)

I think her best option is to re-sit and ensure she gets straight A's really.

She won't be eligible for a Foundation Course as she has the right combination of subjects (I presume)

    Keep trying though !

Well in clearing there are offers of BBB for audiology so all is not lost.

Medicine being the most competitive course in the country; ergo with those grades she doesn't stand a chance.
