Societies idea that we should accept people as they are is distorting what fat is. Because most people in this country are overweight people seem to think overweight is healthy. They see the average as a healthy weight when its not.

Wow.
How the hell can anyone use dress sizes to judge a persons weight is beyond me.
Sizings vary so much. A person can go from a 12 to a 16 just by going to a different shop!!

If it was just as common, then there wouldn't be such a big hoo-ha about it now. It's an increasing trend, which is why it's been in the media recently.

You're talking as if 15 years ago was the mideval times. We had the internet and BBC World News. We would would have heard about it if it was a big enough problem then.

But what does "curvy" actually mean?
It's pretty obvious that all girls have curves, it's the human body.
Is curvy a nice way of saying overweight?
What defines a curvy body? A big bottom? Shapely legs? The waist to hips ratio?
