    If you got 77ums and

    53raw = 70ums
    61raw = 80ums

    then your raw score is

    53 + [(77 - 70)/10]*(61 - 53) = 59

    --

    If your ums is above 80 then you have to know the minimum raw mark required for a ums of 100. I believe that this raw mark is usually

    min{M, A + 2(A - B)}

    where M is the maximum possible raw mark (75 for most Edexcel units), and A and B are the raw marks that give 80ums and 70ums respectively.

    I have to assume that you did Edexcel C4 because I don't have the boundaries for the other boards.

    The examiners' report says:

    45raw = 70ums
    52raw = 80ums

    The minimum raw mark needed for 100ums is therefore min{75, 52 + 2(52 - 45)} = 66. We interpolate between

    52raw = 80ums
    66raw = 100ums

    to find that your raw mark is

    52 + [(94 - 80)/20]*(66 - 52) = 62
