    there is a difference between finding amusement and mocking, with mocking the person will generally be aware that they are being mocked.

    How could they write in anything but English?

    As Visesh pointed out, Urdu/Hindi are written in a different script so it can't be typed on a normal keyboard (or an adapted one for that matter).

    According to the dictionary, the person doesn't necessarily need to be aware of it.

    "To express scorn or ridicule; jeer: They mocked at the idea."

    But putting pedantry aside, it is rude to laugh at these people.

    actually...
    the system's character map does have arabic symbols, foreign characters, etc...
    so if they did want to encrypt their messages they could have used that...
