~ clearing to a uni which i first REJECTED ~

Just got query..
i first got an offer from westminster howveer i rejected them and took others unis as my firm and insurance..
however i am now eligible for clearing.....
I contacted westmnster and told them my grades which in the sciences were D & E.....they werent impressed and told me to come for an interview which i went for today..and they then said they wanted 2 D's
HOWEVER - a friend of mine, she went through clearing also, had never applied to westminster before...got as i did.. a D and E in bio and chem, exact same as me..and they took her on!
Any suggestions?!?!?!?!?!

I REALLY WANA GET INTO WESTMINSTER!!! ANY THING U GUYS THINK I COULD DO ?!?!..
