Is it worth a remark, given that it is a science, however chemistry is not an incredible mathematical science, and envolves more theory type stuff...

Not unless you are wanting to drop it. If you are planing on keeping it up, it wont really make much of a difference unless it goes up by a large ammount.

Definitely get it remarked. I'm 7 UMS marks off an A in nuffield chem and im going to get it remarked.

Remember the comprehension question at the end of the unit 2 paper - that's a more 'english-y' questions where you could get more marks.

Yes I'd agree, if you really want to go for an A at A2 then you'd be better off re-sitting the module which was the weakest and improving your overall AS mark to a strong A rather than a borderline A. This will make your life a lot easier when it comes to the A2 exams.

Hm depends; I got 1 mark off an A in French but am not risking a remark because I don't think it would go up. If the mark is less than you feel the papers deserved, I would risk it. If you have a suspicion you didn't do the papers quite as well as you'd hoped, I wouldn't just in case it went down- it's nicer to say "I was one mark off an A" as you can make more of a joke of it-that's what I'm doing

I don't think you should get it just because you think it was close.
Do you think that there was a general error or that it just doesn't reflect how you felt the paper went? If not , don't just get it reamrked cos you want the A on the risk it goes down.

I'd say don't bother because if it's that borderline and you really want an A in Chem then you need to resit it anyway as the A2 modules are harder. Also it is just as likely to go down as it is to go up.
