what happens in an A-level photography exam

what happens in an A-level photography exam? i dont understand how it can work and how long are they?

Heyy, well ive just done the AS exam for AQA, but basically you're given your exam theme(s) and then you have 6 weeks i think =s to take films around the theme and develop your ideas. After then, we have a 5 hour exam where we literally print photos in the darkroom or use photoshop to edit them lol =) its just like a normal photography lesson really except the quality of your prints after the session is marked...but after the exams over you just carry on taking films and pics to do with your theme until the end of the course where you give in everything you've done and thats it really =)
