    As a proper as level, i.e when they are putting you in order of your grades, or whatever it is they do, will the count it as one?

    They won't accept it as one of your grades for your offer as far as I know (almost certain Oxbridge won't) so you can't use an A in A-level Critical Thinking to fill an AAA offer. They don't require it, it is a bit of an added bonus - more respected than general studies at least.

    I got a C in critical thinking - should i put it down as an AS level or just not tell oxbridge? cos a C is a bit crap....

    no, but i believe it is like a more intelligent version of general studies, so they won't include it in your offer.

    No one can say for certain as the A-level in Critical Thinking does not exist until next year; so far it has only existed as an AS, which universities do not make offers on. I have a hunch that some departments may like it (*cough* computer science, cambridge *cough*) because of its logic-testing skills. Take a look at the UCLES Thinking Skills Assessment which bears extraordinary resemblance to the CT multiple choice section. This is now compulsory for computer science candidates applying for Computer Science at Cambridge.

    I got an A, but i only got two other A's in my as levels, i know they wont give it me as part of my offer, im not even dloing it for a2, but obviously id be put behind someone who say has 3A's with an A in a sicence, or economics etc?
