    1) i remember a couple of years back , u cud ask for phoptocopies of ur script, so if i asked for a photocopy and showed my teacher to see if its worth getting a remark - is that possible????


    2) i just done my as's but say and the end of a2's i'm a couple of marks of a grade can i not get my as papers remarked, if so y not??
    even if they arent cahed in yet???


    plz shed light on these matters.......

    2) You can only get a remark up to the 20th September of the year you took them for June exams. So you can't.

    but it'll take em ages to send me a copy and then for me to asses it...

    so will i be able to do all this before 20th??

    but still how good do u think this idea is coz my teachers wont actually have the markscheme,,

    except one of the teachers in my school is ian examiner and was marking these papers, so do u think she will have the markscheme, and even so do u think she will asses acording to the markscheme???

    Request your paper back, like now.

    Go through it. Then you can request a re-mark if your teacher thinks you will gain marks.

    As you have noted, time is of the essence.

    but i'm not even in school, and i dont think anyone will be in school until like gcse results come out?

    and someone send request for asking script back is 26th august which is ridiculous???

    also i do aqa so how much wud i have to pay about to get a photcopy of one script???

    The teachers get a copy of the markscheme with the photocopies. Cost is around £10 per paper, varies by board.

    (Has been looking up a lot of re-mark related info recently. :rolleyes: )

    1) Yes, I reckon that's what most people do, because gaining more marks is good but then again you might lose it. So best to get advice from a teacher in the subject.

    2) No, because you'll have accepted your results, and got a certificate for them.

    Someone should be in school because people have queries about their results, I know that there's someone at my sixthform centre every morning until they all start back in September. So it would be worth popping in there to see if there is anyone around to help. So that you can request your paper back.
