very very good location and facilities.
its university owned but almost like a hotel. (theres one called weston hotel next to it i believe)

one of the best, thing is you have to leave on each xmas, easter time.

Im at Manchester Met, but my friend who is at Manchester Uni, was in Weston Hall, they are really nice, fairly big rooms, and a nice en-suite. The only thing she didn't like was the fact that the kitchen had no windows and got extremely hot, but im not sure if this was true of all the flats! Also, there was a funny smell around the place - sorry! It was in a great location though!

I was in weston last year, in red core. It really is in a great location, it's easy to get into town and it's next to the UMIST campus. I never had to walk more than 5 or 10 minutes to get to my lectures!
The building is quite new, and I think all the bedrooms will have been refurbished for this september. Red core was done last year and is the nicest part of the hall. The kitchen/lounge is open plan and is really modern. The kitchens in the rest of the building aren't as nice!
The only problem with weston is that a lot of the people seem to stay in their rooms all the time, so it's not as lively as other halls. The bar only had people in it during freshers, and was empty for most of the year! you just need to try a bit harder to meet people than in other places, but I still had a great time!
