And how do I apply them to a coursework?
My teacher is kinda rubbish (long story) and she gives us barely any indication of how to include the 8 elements. So now I've got 3000 words to do and hand in by next Tuesday.
We're doing Blood Wedding (Lorca) and The Womsn Before (Schimmelpfennig).
For Blood Wedding, I do have an essay but my teacher basically said "cut lots and include all 8 elements" so I really have no idea how to improve on that.
For The Woman Before, I've only just started working on it. I've got an intro paragraph and a section on Artaud and how we used Artaudian stuff in a practical.
If you could give me ANY help on how to get good marks or just generally improve my essay, that would' be so great!

You are studying two plays.

1500 words on one play
1500 words on the other

you should of done workshops for all 8 elements?

to get good grades, take a look on the edexcel website and search for example essays, the vocab used in the top band outstanding essays is stuff you can use in your essay!

you should do roughly 200words for each element in each play.

My my teacher has told me to write...

300 for contexts
500 for practioner
200 for language and vocal (all in one )
200 for non verbal
200 for characterisation
300 for interpretation and visual etc (all in one)

you need to use drama vocab, let the marker know that you know everything (Practioner stuff, vocab and what it means etc)
