Bought fake calvin klein boxers (need help if you have CK boxers)

Basically I never used eBay before and a friend suggested I should try it out. I did and saw a great bargain for 6 CK boxers for £25.99. The seller had 800 or so feedback and all of it was 100%. So I went ahead assuming they were legit and bought them using Pay Pal. They came today and were a really small compared to my genuine pair which bought in a retail store.

I just need some advice what to do? I firstly need to confirm they are 100% fake which is why I am asking for help.

Here is a picture of some genuine ones from Amazon and I will describe what’s different.

The logo uses a different colour and font. Specifically on the C of Calvin you see that on the genuine ones above the whole C is curve but on the ones I received the C is not 100% curved it has a straight line for the middle of the C. Another example of the logo is that the dot on the I in Calvin Klein uses a dot and is high above the logo. On the ones I received the dot is a square that they are like 1px above the I.

Another thing that I noticed was the waistband. On the back of the waistband on the genuine ones the background is only grey to the height of the logo but on the ones I received the entire inside of the waistband is Grey.

The Calvin Klein is repeated seven times around the boxers but in the image above it looks like it's only been repeated five times in the genuine ones.

Another thing is that on the back of the waistband is a label which isn't there in the picture above. This could be where the logo is supposed to be but not in the picture because it's for selling purposes but I am not sure. It also has a serial number on the label which leads to many cheap websites. The SN is U7051 (I think that is the serial number).

The stitching is also very bad and will probably fall apart soon.

The box that it came in looks very well done which puts me in a difficult position. The picture on the eBay advert is defiantly different to the product I received and it says that they are the "Calvin Klein" brand and they are new with tags although there were no tags in the package and nothing was sealed.

I am basically just asking people to compare them with their Calvin Klein boxers. Then what do I want to do next? Do I leave negative feedback? Can I get a refund? Do I need to return the fakes to the seller? or should I send them to Calvin Klein?

Thanks to everyone in advanced and I am never using ebay again (so please leave out that's what you get with ebay comments (now i know)).

Email the seller, tell them you suspect its a fake and want a refund.

If the eBay listing said they were genuine, then, by law, you should be able to get your money back, however, I doubt you will have any success with that.

Threaten to leave negative feedback if they are actually fakes and you care.

It's more the principle if anything. I am not really bothered about the money but would prefer to get the ******** banned or something

Do a paypal dispute. There's an option somewhere to open one. And say they are fake and you want your money back. The seller will either agree and give you money back, or Paypal will arbitrate and most likely will go to your side. I think the seller would probably refund you seeing as you leaving negative feedback might ruin their reputation. You will get a refund in the end either way.

If I get a refund do I have to send them back? I'd rather just bin them because it means I have to go to the post office and pay posting. Then he will just sell them on again.

If he asks you to send them back, you could always mention in your feedback that he's planning on reselling the second-hand fake pants.
Take them to a shop and have them confirmed as fakes. Then e-mail the seller threatening to report them and leave negative feedback if they don't give you a refund. Then report them (don't wait for a response, just do it straight away). Then open up a paypal dispute.

If the seller wants you to return the items tell him he has to refund your postage and packaging as well.

Normally they would but they might not ask for them back since it is used underwear, but if they do then make them pay for the shipping also. If they do ask for them back, say you wore them.

you can get your refund but why you complaining you got the boxers cheap

They're pants? Surely if they don't itch your balls then they're fine?

Don't leave negative feedback unless the seller refuses to give you a refund, or he will be much less inclined to refund you.

luckily i'm in bed and i'm wearing CK boxers right now what a lark.

and whilst i don't know how to compare the C and the i etc because i haven't seen it, mine have a grey band inside the waistband (black on the outside) and that is a narrow strip just like the pair up there.
so err all i can confirm is that mine are genuine

ok well the grey is not a narrow strip on mine so they are probably fake :frown:
