Opinion please [women ARE from venus...]

Right, sorry i know this is somewhat of a cliche but here goes:

Went out to the local bar/club with some mates. Saw this girl in there that I kind of knew. We shared a taxi a few months back and she went out with one of my mates for a while.

She was really flirty with me but i couldent work out whether is was genuine or just being flirty (with the aid of a few vodkas). She kept hugging me and stuff and chatting but then she would go off dancing and come back. I asked her if she wanted a drink but she didnt want one. Anyways after 2-3 hours of this i walked her home and we chatted. She mentioned this guy that she likes - so that also confused me, either she likes him and isnt interested in me or she mentioned him to do the hard to get thing. Anyway she went home and asked if i was going out next week.

Didnt get her number and didnt tell her how i feel! Im stupid right?

Anyway i guess ill see her out next week and see what happens. Just would like an opinion from what i have said - do you think she likes me or not?

Cheers, Ad :p:

Hmmm, when I was free and single I'll admit that just getting the appropriate attention spurred on flirtatious antics on my behalf. Flirting shouldn't be taken so literally, especially with such young women. What she is saying is that the possibility is there, but she isn't offering until SHE feels like it! Sorry!

so shes not interested then? well im just gonna ask her - i hate beating around the bush!

give it some time and see where it lead to! then we'll decide!

If you ask her you could ruin the fun flirty friendship you have now. It will put her in the position to worry about how she acts around you in case she gives you the wrong impression. From your description of the evening, she is not romantically attracted to you and is just using you as a friend to take care of her when she is out drinking. If you don't think thats good enough and don't care if she remains your friend then you ahead and confront her, it will probably knock some much needed sense into her. But be prepared that things will not be likely to return to "normal" in the near future, and maybe her friendship means more to you than needlessly making her self-conscious around you.

Just because she likes you as a friend and you want more doesn't make it "mind games"...

edit: oh, just read your post again and realized she isn't a friend at all but just some random girl at a club you've met twice. Forget all my advice, just tell her how you feel, at least you'll know for sure, and anyway, who cares if she rejects you when you hardly know her anyway? Good luck!!
