The French Baccalaureate represents A levels.
Bac +3 means you got a Bachelor at your University.
Bac+ 5 means you got a Master (and +4 is Maitrise, I do not believe it exists in UK)

In fact, the figure following "Bac" reflects the number of years you studied at University

I would say you're currently in second year of "Licence", meaning you are at Uni but haven't completed your degree yet.

Thanks both, however according to my friends on the same course as me I'm apparently Bac+2 because I'm in my second year after A levels...

Hello, I am new in the French education system. I have summit my documents for validation. They have send me documents indicate baccalaureat 4 which I did not have any good knowledge of what it means can someone help me with this
