I don't eat breakfast.

after...

I don't really see the point of brushing them before breakfast, especially if you're going to eat straight after. Doesn't the food taste all minty? That's just my opinion though.

Why the feck would anyone brush their teeth before eating?? That's like putting aftershave on before having a shave

Reply 6

yeah it does taste weird/minty at the initial few spoons of breakfast but after that, the taste of the breakfast is restored. Also, you get use to it when u always brush it prior to breakfast. I do either really, but I use to always brush before breakfast for some reason.

But you're teeth are not clean in the morning, and you mouth still has a small odour even if you've brushed you're teeth in the night. That is probably why most people brush their teeth before eating breakfast, I certainly wouldn't feel right eating with a dirty mouth!

hav never brushed after breakfast...
i should...

Reply 9

But then after you've eaten breakfast surely you have to brush them again?

Once you've eaten, your mouth is dirty, and bacteria begins to build up etc. so whats the point of brushing before eating??

Ideally you should brush your teeth after every meal. This isn't practical at all, but brushing before eating is like gelling your hair before you get in the shower.. you just have to do it again afterwards..

I really didn't think about brushing teeth soo intelligently

I just from childhood, had the impression that first thing in the morning should be visiting the loo and brushing teeth.

I mean if I were just to wake up and get straight in the kitchen to make breakfast, I'd rather sleep in the kitchen.

Dunno if that was a joke or not, but you should get in the habit. Tooth decay leads to abscesses which are fooookin painful. Not worth it

Plus halitosis is a bit of a mood killer..

The only time when I actually ever eat breakfast is whn I have a fry-up in college so if I have that then I brush afterwards.

I always brush my teeth before breakfast, because it's just so much easier to drag myself out of bed, walk across the hall to do everything I need to do in the bathroom, get dressed and then go downstairs and have breakfast - if I brush my teeth before breakfast I don't have to trundle back upstairs to brush my teeth. Lazy, I know.
