    Hi everyone. Happy New Year!

I finished reading the fifth Harry Potter book a few months agos, but I still have one unanswered question :

How did Vortemort lose his powers? The line in the prophecy :

"The Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have powers that the Dark Lord knows not..."

does not mean that Vortemort will lose his powers.

I remember that Dumbledore once said that Vortemort's powers were tranferred to Harry when Vortemort tried to curse Harry. But, according to the prophecy, this doesn't make sense.

    Can anyone explain this?

    Thanks,
    KC

Even better idea try a harry potter site

    http://forums.iharrypotter.net
    http://www.cosforums.com
    http://www.thesnitch.co.uk

Any of those should be able to fulfill all your Harry Potter wants.
