Apart from the comment about Clegg being in the Telegraph, it seemed quite fair.

I am watching skynews (I rarely watch it I usually watch BBC or CNN), I am watching the post coverage of the debate, and I am really surprised at how in favour of the conservatives they are. The interviewer at the moment is completely for the Torys and seems completely unimpartial (is that a word?). It reminds me of the American Tv Network FOX. Am I imagining this? I had no idea that they are so biased!

it reminds you of FOX because their under the same umbrella corporation "News Corp" owned by good old Murdoch..so yeah there's a bit of a bias toward the Tories, if you read the SUN newspaper at all, you'll probably notice an extreme Tory bias, for the same reason.
Sky News is the UK's answer to fox news. Let's not also a certain Mr Murdoch who's bricking Clegg's sudden surge in popularity.
Fox and Sky are sister channels. They always share each other's coverage of major breaking news events.

Think of it this way: the BBC - that's tax-payer funded, is left-wing. Notoriously so. Sky is the opposite. You watch whichever one suits your political tastes. Let's face it, in this day-and-age, it's hard to find a medium that's not unbiased to some extent.

No, I mean the discussion on the news after the debate. Not the moderator in the debate (I think this is what you are refering to).

People say that Sky is becoming the Fox News of the UK.

It is also owned/connected with the same people who own The Sun newspaper which has come out in support of the Tories, so expect some pro-Tory bias is both places.
Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. has a big stake in BSkyB, the company who broadcasts Sky News. News Corp. also owns Fox News in the USA which is the most obviously major news outlet in the Western world probably. Although I don't think much of this conservative bias seeps in to Sky News.

I didnt realise this, no wonder the two seem so alike, how interesting.

I only watched about 5-10 minutes of it but that presenter (whoever she was) came across as a real idiot and I gave up. But yes, especially when the results that Cameron had 'won' were announced it did seem pro-conservatives.

Yes because of the evil old foddy-doddy that is Rupert Murdoch.

Its a shame really, gone are the days when you are given the facts in the news and left to make up your mind. I wasn't really aware the BBC are left-wing, (perhaps because I am left wing myself and probably havent noticed the bias there)

Everything owned by Richard Murdoch is tory. Sky News is only telling people about The Sun poll, which is the only poll which puts Cameron on top.
As people say, Ruport Murdoch pulls the strings. It's hegemony at its very best (worst).
Reply 17
To be fair, Murdoch is hardly writing the scripts for the autocues
Reply 18
I would expect nothing less than this from Fox Sky News

The after debate thing was awful mainly due to that woman presenter being a total bitch to anyone who wasn't a Tory.

BBC and ITV ftw. I never realised that Sky were right wing, but then I suppose I don't watch Sky News, only SkyOne
