Yes, its fine to take paracetomal at the same time as anti-inflammatory type drugs.

Not neccessarily. It does depend which specific ones you're on. Best to check with a chemist, gp or give nhs direct a call- 0845 46 47 They will be able to clear this up for you :smile: .
As far as I know you can take paracetamol with all NSAIDs.

What have you got there? Ibuprofen? Diclofenac? It'll be fine.
And Mr BNF agrees, so it's all good.
Paracetamol and any NSAID are okay together.

Anybody who knows anything about pharmacology....

If taking prescribed NSAIDs, is it OK to also take paracetomol at the same time? I am in paaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiin!!!!! :frown:

yes you can, but if you are taking prescribed NSAIDS then its likely whatever pain you are feeling willnot be dulled by paracetemol. furthermore you inc you risk of becoming somewhat dependent on pain killers (such that when you stop tking them you are very sensitive to pain)
