congrats on your results. found out a few weeks ago, i'm so excited. pics of it look really nice! gonna be doing archaeology, but haven't met anyone else on my course! what day you moving in?

its meant to be either 24th or 25th between 10am and 5pm. however, i am paying extra to move in on the wed before as i have a wedding on the weekend! but i won't be in there for a night until sunday 25th. what day do you reckon you'll move in? do you know when we'll find out which flat we're in? are they mixed sex flats?

i just receieved my letter..bit shocked that the earliest we can move in is 24th..my mates at kings are allowed to move in on the 19th..!...do you know when freshers week starts becaase if term starts on 26th ...then wouldnt that mean freshers week is a week before that......(how does that work if we cant move in til the 24th) lol....

It would be messed up if that was the case. Who would go to freshers? Probably the lecturers lol.

Freshers fortnight/week starts on the 26th, i got my info through the post today. I got 2 forms, did you get 2 aswell? Both are exactly the same, i think they may of sent 2 by accident.

I got 2 in my offer for Ramsey. I assume the second is for you to keep for your own records.

yeah, you keep one copy. i spoke to someone on the phone and they said one is for you. freshers week starts on the 26th, our timetables won't start til the week after! roll on freshers week!!!!! :biggrin:

i don't have a schedule, but i think it is different for each department. because i'm doing arcaheology the whole year group goes on a camping trip on the following weekend to moving in! i also heard that some departments have 2 weeks! lucky!

i also got an offer for John Dodgeson house.. i've only been able to find two pictures of it! Have you found any more?

I might go check it out next week, before i make my final decision of moving in..!!

(I live in North London, and only live 6 stops away from the University; so not completely sure whether i want to move in or not)

EDIT: Forgot to mention my course: Im enrolling in Economics (L100). Hope its not single sex sections!! :eek:

What do they provide you in the room? (as in, desk, shelves, closet?!)

Is it enough? or did the poor guy have books on the floor etc?

i never saw any of that...

there are desks and shelves and a lot of compartments for all ur stuff...the kitchens are quite small though compared to the KIngs College London appartments

hey! another john dodgson resident, yay!

i've found a few pics. couple of the outside, one of a room and also the common room. it looks really nice. can't wait. still don't know if its singe sex tho. i hope everyone will socialise anyway! yeah i saw the thing about the bar, but it seems too good to be true so i expect its just for the summer. but it would be an added bonus!

come on, halls are an experience in themselves, you have to move in!!

hello again!

did u notice a microwave?! seems silly but i read somewhere that they weren't provided. and also were the ensuites just showers or was it a shower over a bath? i'm so jealous i wish i could go see them!
