do u regret going to imperial and ****, at all?

werd dudes - the more I read about it and ****, the worse a place it seems. Yea I could like go to another uni for masters and ****, but its still the real uni **** here for 3 years - after that time ill be all old and ****, too old to ever enjoy anything again.

I cant really remember why I applied here in the first place, I guess teachers told me that it has a good reputation and ****, but I cant find any evidence of that outside of its own material. Certainly not much of an international standing, fo sho

And is it really that great for sciences? Seems like quite a few of the other "good" unis are > imperial for many science *****, especially biological **** (ive applied for biochemistry).

+ london could be highly gay to live in. Hyde park is close I guess, but still its not real nature ****, its all civilised, artificial, sterilised and ****

Can one transfer to other unis after the first year, onto the second year of the "same" course? Dropping out would really lose, and if im gonna go to uni id rather start now

**** the police dudes

Rated 23rd in the World last time I checked (3rd best UK uni on the list) and 3rd in Europe.

It's true that Imperial's reputation is founded mainly from Engineering and the Physical Sciences, but Biological Sciences defiantley don't get a poor showing. I know on some tables it's not at the very top, but as a Bristol Uni tutor told me, there's practically nothing seperating the top 10-15 unis.

I got used to it really easy to be honest. I live in a small market town so thought it might be a bit of a shock, but really it's fine. If you're a proper country boy though it might take a bit of getting used to. But of course, if you don't try something you won't know if you like it or not.

Pretty sure you can transfer to the second year at another uni, but it's purely at the discretion of the uni you want to go to instead. Especially if there's big differences in the stuff that's taught in first year.

werd - well i live in birmingham atm so im used to city ****, but i still think it would be cool to be somewhere closer to like, outside ****. Thats why I was attracted to sheffield, it being next to the peak district and ****.

Its also possibly **** that the campus is like 500x200m. I mean, my school grounds were probably that big. So it would be very different to many other unis with massive campuses. Different may not be worse though - it could be better being much more exposed to the outside and ****, i dunno

regarding the league table ****, werd i saw 23rd in the world too, that sucks ass. Third in the UK, pfft, may aswell NOT EXIST!!!

Dude, 23rd in the world ain't bad! Consider how many unis there are in the world!

Also, I have to admit I was surprised by how small the campus was, but everything's there.
if you dont like it, leave it.

I dont think you will be compatable with any other imperial student if i go by sterotype

You see you've blown your cover out the window. Anybody who says that can simply not be serious. It is obvious now that you're not curious about this university, but just want to post meaningless and pointless replies in an attempt to make yourself feel better. For what reason I do not know, but I can say that you are very sad indeed.

Edit: Refrain yourself from using words that get starred out. It get's annoying seeing all those asterix.

I never said your applying to IC. You are curious about this university; you are having second thoughts about it, otherwise you wouldn't have opened this thread.

What other University are you considering to go to instead of Imperial?

dunno. I cant go to another one this year ofcourse - next year i dunno

It is very difficult to transfer to another Univeristy without repeating any years, especially if the Univerisity is not a London one (since Imperial is a London University). Bear that in mind before you decide to come here. If ICL is not the place for you, then you won't have a great time here. In my opinion, I think this place is fantastic and I'm enjoying every day of it.
