I haven't found anybody else going to Schafer House yet! :frown: Even though it holds 369 students...

Try http://www.ucl.ac.uk/discussions/index.php?c=3 usually some schafer people post there around this time each year.

@ UCL girl - do you know what block you are in and stuff? I got a letter today with some forms to fill [argh] but nothing on where i'm gonna be. Looks like we wont find out till we actually get the keys!

Also, do you know how many people share a kitchen? £122 is quite a bit, but i'm so glad i got frances G. - i bet the interior looks well new

yea i must have got the same letter, i have no clue about the blocks. I think its about 5 or 6 in each little cluster flat so we all share a kitchen between us, i might have just made that up though.

Any idea about when we can move in? the sooner the better!

We can move in on the 24th/25th between 10am-5pm. If you go late say 7pm you gonna have to pay for the day or something, so it's best to go at 10am-5pm. I'm gonna move in on the sat after lunchtime as that'll be the last decent thing i eat for 4 years. What time are you gonna go?

Yea i think i'll do the same, last thing i wanna do is turn up just as everyones decided theyre all best friends! 24th at about 2ish. might have to get a train down, me and my billion boxes! Not too bad though- im only 15 minutes away so wheneven the food supplys getting low or washing needs done, ill be straight onto that train!

Nice1, i got to learn how to use a washing machine  , shouldn't be too tricky, hopefully.

How many train trips do you think you will need to drop your stuff off. I'm considering taking a train too, but i think i may struggle picking it all up in 1 go.

Nah sorry, i dunno much about it at all  . There must be a few people per kitchen, about 3-6 i think. It must be if we are paying £122.92 per week  . My mum is trying to make me take some gobi and teaching me how to make roti and stuff but all the gora are gonna be like :hmmmm: . If we don't get any more information about it, i'll ring up the accommodation office a few days before i go.
