Chemgirl,
I'm not exactly sure what you want to know about Butler Court. All the information is available on the student accommodation website.
My view on the matter is slightly bias because I've lived there for a year and I'm on the committee who help to make your life there more enjoyable.
So here's how it goes...
Butler Court is a hall of residence located in East Park. It consists of 3 buildings and 6 blocks; A-F.
Each block has 4 floors; Ground to third floor and each floor is split in to 3 flats, A,B and C.
In each flat there is a kitchen (fair size) and 3 bedrooms.
Each bedroom consists of a "wet room" en-suite, two desks, two beds, two wardrobes, and two people.
The sharing part is the bit which obviously puts a lot of potentials off the hall, but we are trying as a committee to try and get rid of this fear because everyone who comes to Butler Court finds that the hall spirit is really good and most people's roommates end up being their best mate.
You have to remember that everyone is in the same boat. Your potential roommate is having the same fears about having to share a room with you, but if you're both willing to give it a go then you will realise that it's actually a bonus that you make an instant friend for company during freshers week!!
The hall also has a large common room with pool table, tv+dvd (looking in to Sky possibility) and table football table and cd player. It also has a laundry room and on-site reception.
At the end of it all if you still are really having problems then you can contact Imago who will try to re-accommodate you, and this will probably mean you being moved to Falk-Egg anyway because that is the ghetto!!
If you have any more questions that I haven't answered let me know.
