Lancaster uni accommodation (pendle)

Hi

Im going to Lancaster uni in October and just found out which accommodation im staying in, and it says that ive been allocated a place in room D### George Fox in Pendle College. Does mean im actually going to be living in the george fox building, or is this just a part of the pendle college accommodation name?

Hi Ste,

Have you opted for en-suite or standard accommodation?

If it's en-suite then you will be in the George Fox building. If it's standard then you will be in the main Pendle building.

Incidentally i've applied for Pendle and, as yet, heard nothing. Maybe it's in today's post!

Yeh i applied for en-suite however didnt realise that it was above the george fox building, i thought it was part of the rest of pendle accomodation. i went in today and looked at it with the resident manager and personally i didnt like the look of the en-suite, it was very old fashioned compared to newer colleges such as lonsdale and cartmel, and for the price it just didnt seem worth it to me.

so i spoke to the resident manager of pendle and im changing to a standard room, where it is im a bit unsure, however it seems like a better choice for me. plus its short let and its far cheaper, and the standard room is newer and more modern than the en-suite one i originally went for.

you should recieve the information about where your staying soon, the resident manager told me that its just pendle so far that have sorted out rooms, so you should get yours soon. let me know if you need anymore info, ive been up to the uni numerous times now with friends and only live 15 mins away. let me know what block and room your in as well... u never we might be able to hang out sometime at uni!

Hi Ste,

Got my pack today and got in Pendle! Yey!

Hopefully i'm not on the ground floor though - would be good to be able to leave the window open without getting my stuff robbed!
