I'm in Max Rayne which is part of the Ifor Evans complex. Apparently its nice to be detached from the main UCL campus area. Its not that far anyway, short bus trip or a 30 min walk.

hi, i was in ifor evans last year, and it's ok - the same as any other hall really. the bulidings are 1960s-ish. i'm afraid there isn't any wireless. the bar there is great - drinks are REALLY cheap, especially on mondays! the bus to uni leaves straight from outside of the halls, and takes about 10-15minutes. i hope you enjoy the year, as camden is a fun place to live.

how people are we to a shower?
is the walk to uni bad?
is the area safe, like walking from uni back to camden at night
are there night buses?

the showers i used were a bit rubbish to be honest. the walk to uni is fine - it's about 20-25 minutes. the are is safe - i never ran into any trouble this year. of course there are night buses, which run 24 hours. if you're getting back late from uni (as in past midnight), then walk to tottenham court road and catch the N279, N29 or N253 from there, which will take you to right outside of the halls.
