yep first year is common to all medics and biomed students...not sure about the lecture timetable though as I haven't got one yet!

In general. it'll be similar to:

M: 9-11, 12-1 Physiology
T: 10-12, 1-3 Pharmacology
W: 9-11 Practice of Biomedical Science (ie key skills)
T: 10-12, 2:30-5 Histology
F: 9-12 Molecular Cell Biology

Tutorials and seminars into the mix and, on the surface, it still seems a lot lighter than a school schedule, so remember about independent study :smile:
