Exactly, and they would be able to tell their friends that their dad is on a Mars mission! Everest is quite boring- had you been the first, it would have been otherwise but it's now like a holiday destination.
Btw, there's no need for any environment specialist in Mars - No such vacancies have been advertised in the Martian gazette.
    Boring! thats so untrue!
perhaps if i climb it with one hand tied behind my back....
I didn't see a volcanologist being advertised for either as it happens...mind sending me on the advert?

I'm afraid that the Gazette is via radiowaves, so you'll have to keep on tuning your radio every night at around 2061 and you might be able to hear it. Obviously, i can't record it.

Yea - i found the same myself....
I have a nice rotary watch which is just as tough as they come - i mean, its been battered and scraped on rocks all over the world but i frustratingly have to keep boiling the strap to clean it, because i'm fed up with paying £15 for new straps...(i paid £50 for the watch originally, which was half RRP )
haven't had to change the battery yet, so hope that doesn't happen in the next few weeks....

    in a word...

    painkillers, or travel sickness tablets

the painkillers will numb the pain so you wont have to worry about that

or the travel sickness tablets will knock you out so you wont have to worry about the positioning

I am here now itself- I returned early from the allotment gardens just for that. I doubt if my dear hubby will be around though- he is supposed to leave any time now.

Sorry to hear about you megz... I would have travelled up to Leicester to give you a massage but am caught up here. And the only other person I know, who is in L now, is a guy, and I don't think you'll be flattered by that! What happened?

And Scubar, you are in the family Bible now.

I should have come to you when i needed mine done eh hunni...
What exactly have you done to your back megz? i'll see if theres anything i can do - although being a masseuse is not my strong point, i can remember how it felt when i got my shoulder done at Easter (I partially dislocated it coming off my bike and hitting the bike racks outside my department - just dont ask - i have come off my bike on several occasions there, all of which were not my fault! )
You should have a little more faith in me anyway my darling wife...i'm off on monday morning (around 4 am) but do have my last night here before going to another wedding tomorrow
