    Hi,

    in my History AS - 237/300 I got - English History - Peel - 67/90, French History - 1815-1848 - 72/90 and Document Studies - Italian independence - 98/120...
Was bit suprised by Documents(got more than I expected) but shocked by these essay results - in Peel I always got nice As and my teacher is an OCR examiner and in French As as well...more importantly, I really felt that I wrote 2 A essays and now I am disappointed and angry...

Should I request photocopies of these essays(2*£10) and go for remarks or go straight for remarks(definitely the Peel one)??? Do you know how much does an unsuccessful remark cost???

:tsr: PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEEE!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

You could ask for the photocopies first so you can show them to your teacher and ask whether you deserved higher marks. What with your being so close to an A though I doubt it would do much harm to go straight for a re-mark, especially if you're sure the mark is harsh. Unsuccessful remark is about £30 I think but I'm not sure.

How much do you need the grade in History? I know that Hist is HARD work... but if you want to carry it on then rather than remarks I would just advise retaking modules, because you need a solid A!
On the other hand you said that you seriosuly didn't expect to do that badly... If you're SURE then it might be worth the remark anyway
