I heard that last year they just tested the TSA with candidates, hoping to see whether it works. It seems that it's gaining some concern this year. I'm not an expert anyway.

I once considered Caius in my short list, but didn't choose it at last coz I heard that it's quite expensive. dunno whether that's some kinda rumour?

Erm..expensive....well i haven't received my freshers pack yet..but i haven't heard of that.

The only thing i can think of that it may be about is that as opposed to other colleges where you have to pay a kitchen fee...at Caius you pay up front for 45 dinner tickets per term...and you have to use them to eat in halls. Ie. 45 dinners in halls per term. Works out at about 5 a week. They say its to encourage socialising within the college.

only think i heard last year about caius was it took loads of people from the pools, and makes them stupidly hard offers. Then everyone who goes there works ridiculously hard and have mental breakdowns. But it might just be a rumour.

God bless those kids......

But... for a kid who would work ridiculously hard to get into Cambridge, a mental breakdown before the exams might not be too bad compared to failing to meet the offer (coz they don't need to wait nearly two months for a killing A/L report).

I'm fffffffffed up with the "server is too busy" thing!!!!!!!! ahhh!!!

I think it's true. At least its accommodation fee is higher than lots of other colleges, based on what i saw from the CUSU's website.

It's not that mych higher is it?? I think average is something like 65 quid a week...which isn't too bad for singles. Also...depends what the accommodation is like.

I think i remember reading that site actually..it did say the info was a few years old tho. Once my freshers pack comes..if it ever does....i'll let you know how much

Maybe Emma, coz of the lovely chapel, lovely duckling, lovely website, lovely size, lovely people (though the open day is not that good) and lovely name.

So, apparently, I'm more committed to Emma than to the maths subject
