I just hope you are not one of those Chamagne or Chardonnay Socialists. Other than that, hello and welcome.

Hi. I'm the very opposite of a socialist (as you can see from the Conservative sign beside my name ) but there are a few parties that you can join here that are somewhat socialist. You have a Respect Party on here, and a Labour Party (yes I know that they aren't socialist now, but most of the members here are I think). Anyway, its nice to meet you.

There should be a socialist party. I consider myself a working class socialist, definately not a chardonnay socialist, but i know what you mean :P I don't consider the Respect Party socialist. Though I don't dispute the party contains many genuine socialists. I believe a party that campaigns largely on religious lines rather than on class issues can not be considered socialist. I was once a Labour Party activist but left the party after the Iraq war. Anyways how do people join party and groups on here? This site seems so confusing

The BNP are the most socialist party with much representation on this site!

If it's actually the White 'racist' thing you don't like I think the best thing to do is persuade them they are wrong - this is 'debate and discussion'. Alternatively go to the 'Original Dissent' link in my signature, it's open to all but has a good proportion of White 'racists' and a good level of debate and information.

If you don't like parasites I'd ditch socialism, nothing breeds leeches like socialism.

You could if you wished set a party up, but you'll have to ask the moderators since I have absolutely no idea how do do such a thing. As for joining a party, go into the Model Parliament sub-forum whose link is shown on the main debate and discussion page, and at the top of that page there is a link that says 'join a party' I think.

fair enough, you have your opinions and I have mine. perhaps my comments seemed a tad derogatory but I speak my mind. The intimidation tactics that have been employed against some of my good friends by the far right, redwatch being one tool used these people, means I have a very low opinion of these groups. An opinion I don't apologise for.

I love them. They are quite sad and pathetic. Fighting for the return of the Soviet Union, weeping after Lenin, Stalin, praising the hypocritical old ******* Mr Tony Benn, Clare Short, sexy but principled she aint. People say the Tories are old fashioned.

I'm not a member of that particular group. I can give you 100% assurance that the Socialist Party is a totally non violent democratic party. Why am I a socialist? Many reasons. Generally the evils of capitalism, that mean some live in luxury while others starve. I won't go into soap box mode as it's unlikely i'll convince you to join us I feel.

Yes I agree. It doesn't seem fair. Socialism is far more egalitarian. Everybody starves.
