    Sheff Utd through

Edit: Just saw the highlight of Parkin booting someone in the crotch again. The linesman had a perfect view of it, so I have no idea how Parkin managed to avoid getting a card

I'm going to Wembley!!! We deserved to go through over the 2 legs, Preston didn't turn up in either game really.

Post-match interview was quite funny (I dunno who it was with, I wasn't paying attention :o:)...but the guy was saying "It's a fair result. The best team won in each leg". He clearly forgot that the first leg ended in a draw, so nobody bloody won it :p:

Championship final sorted, then: Sheffield United vs Burnley
Owen Coyle's done pretty well for himself south of the border (more so than Alex McLeish, who saw both Rangers and Scotland as stepping stones to getting relegated from the English Premiership with Birmingham  Stupid ****)...but Kevin Blackwell's been in playoff finals twice now and I'm sure Sheff Utd have it in them to make sure it's third time lucky for him.

And rather shocked to hear about Brighton's cull of players, including Kerry Mayo. He's been a loyal Seagull for nearly 15 years

I'm not so upset about the playoffs, I'm very unhappy about Coppell. Bah.

I think I'd rather Sheff Utd went up - I'm not a huge fan of either club but I think United just about edge it.

I'm a little upset that's he resigned. Top quality manager.

In all fairness, I think Burnley will just edge Sheffield United in the final, should be a good game regardless.

Predictions for Leeds v Millwall tonight?
I think this will be a tough one, but Leeds being the home side means they will have far more fans arrested than Millwall. My prediction: Leeds 140, Millwall 60.

I actually don't care that much. Both trips to grounds full of ass hats, Leeds are closer to uni, but Millwall will allow me a trip home to free meals and that sort of thing. We'll lose to either team. Meh. Hopefully Scunthorpe go up.

I agree with you on Scunthorpe going up Michael.

I just don't want a MK Dons v Leeds United final that's all. Two of my most disliked clubs too.

Urgh, that'd be awful. I'd not mind a terrorist attack on Wembley all that much.
