Brian Laws to be the next one!
If Wednesday lose today then I suspect he will get sacked.

Love it! Blades win, Wednesday lose and go in the bottom 3 and West Ham lose and go in the bottom 3!

Well done to Rochdale, Rotherham and Chesterfield too!

Loads of goals in the football league today, Newcastle getting pegged back by Barnsley. An excellent win for Doncaster against Bristol City, while Ipswich seem to be recovering after their awful start. But going in the wrong way are Sheffield Wednesday with no win in nine after being thrashed by a resurgent Leicester, surely it's the last straw for Brian Laws. Crystal Palace seem to be travel sick quite literally against Sheffield United after five of their first team members went down with a bug.
Brentford got a superb point against Leeds today, while in League two there was several five goal wins and even a six goal win for Burton, their biggest ever football league win, same for Morecombe they got their biggest ever win in the football league 5-0 over the leaders Bournemouth.

    The Coca-Cola Football League Championship
    Barnsley 2-2 Newcastle
    Coventry 3-2 Peterborough

    Preston 2-0 Plymouth
    Reading 1-1 Scunthorpe
    Sheff Utd 2-0 Crystal Palace
    Swansea 0-1 Nottm Forest
    Watford 0-1 Derby

    Coca-Cola Football League One
    Brentford 0-0 Leeds United
    Bristol Rovers 3-0 Swindon
    Carlisle 1-0 Wycombe
    Huddersfield 2-1 Gillingham

    Oldham 2-0 Exeter
    Southampton 3-0 Tranmere

Another win for us yesterday, 9 points out of 9.
9 points of the relegation zone, and only 5 from play-offs.

Oh, and Brian Laws has quit. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot..._1/8410561.stm

It was a matter of when not if, the chairman claims whoever will be in charge next will receive funds to strengthen the team.

Cardiff have beaten a sorry Middlesbrough team who are still waiting their first win at home under Gordon Strachan, a record low crowd as well at the Riverside as Cardiff go 3rd.

Brilliant win for us again today. Didn't play that great, were we quite lucky in parts and owe the result to a poor Boro team, but still, 3 points is 3 points

QPR threw away a two goal lead against West Brom in a very entertaining second half at The Hawthorns.

Some midweek fixtures, I wonder if Stockports Fa Cup match will finally get going, it's a bit like Chesterfield and Droylsden last season. There's a lovely little miss-match in the JT Trophy, Leeds and Accrington Stanley.

    The FA Cup
    Stockport v Torquay, R2, 19:45

    Johnstone's Paint Trophy
    Carlisle v Bradford, SFN, 19:30
Hereford v MK Dons, SFS, 19:00
Leeds United v Accrington Stanley, SFN, 19:45
    Southampton v Norwich, SFS, 19:45

It's being played at Macclesfield's ground.
