Cardiff are assured a play off spot, suspect they will wrap up promotion in the next game or two, Bristol City on the other hand look dead and buried now, but it is still tight after that. Meanwhile Walsall FC celebrate 125 years today and they got a point against Sheffield United, Brentford got held by Coventry, but Yeovil stake their claim by winning today. In league two Barnet beat Wimbledon to plunge them back in trouble as well as boosting Barnet's survival hopes.
Until its done, I wont jump to conclusions. They always find someway to mess up

We were so pish today. could have been so far behind by half time, fair play to bolton though. I still trust we'll be ok - just from our home games and the fact not all of the teams around us will scramble enough points

Yeah you never know they might do a Newcastle from years ago when they were top by 12 points and managed to blow it, but reality is Cardiff will be fine, either Hull or Watford will join them.

Realistically the end of the season for MK today. 0-0 draw at home to Crawley so too far away from the playoffs. 3 goals ruled out for offside (at least 2 of them definitely were, not sure about the first though), 1 chance put over from the 6-yard box, another straight at the keeper from closer still, and multiple scrambles in the box weren't enough. :sigh:

    Awesome congrats to Gillingham!
I'm not sure if I could cope with being managed by Martin Allen but he does seem to do the business with fourth or third division clubs and has got Barnet out of a mess before. Well done to him and the Gills players.

Brentford got 'held' by Coventry-I'm so delighted we could keep the mighty Brentford at bay.

Martin Allen is a complete fruit-basket. In the transfer market... not as bad as Sven but still throws money at anything that has a pulse. I'll never forget Casino Jimmy and Hossain Kaebi :moon: Back in the days when we were truly ****.

    Lol.

The times, they are a-changin'. Says a lot that I'm really disappointed that we can't beat Coventry away.

Forest slipping a bit lately. Need a big win at Cardiff this Saturday to ease the pressure a little.

Fantastic results from a Brentford perspective tonight. This division is absurd.

Regretfully I can't see SUFC getting automatic promotion now, scored two goals in 6 games and we've got Swindon followed by Brentford. If we can win both of those, then we stand a chance but I really don't fancy our chances against Brentford on our current form.

I am thinking it will be between Brentford and Bournemouth for second place.

Got Tranmere, Walsall, MK Dons and Leyton Orient knocking on the door of the play-offs now too, going to be one nail biting dash to the end.
