Sheff U still have automatic promotion in their own hands; I still think they will do it.
    I still think you're wrong.

I can imagine that your emotion shifted from  to :cry2: in the space of 50 minutes.
Something like that. I should know not to expect anything from them anyway

Who does everyone think will get relegated from Championship. At one point Sheff Wed were in ninth when they went 1 up against leeds, but are now 16th.

Personally i think the current bottom will go, but everyone will move up and down and it'll go to the last day. Peterborough's form will see them through and they've played well in important games so far.
Ironically I think ourselves (Wolves) will go down with the 3 little pigs, and probably still Huddersfield.

You've had an odd season, started brightly, faded away, then seem to come back into it. Guess now it will be hard to make the play offs.

Think I'm right in saying if Brentford win all their games then they're champions?amazing achievement for them. Usually after around 20 games you can tell which team will be fighting relegation or promotion. Yet here we are with 4 games left in the championship many teams could still finish 22nd or 9th, unbelievable!

Tickets to the Cardiff game against Charlton. Absolutely buzzing. Draw will seal the deal.

Yep, because we're playing Doncaster at home on the last day. It's ridiculously exciting. Need a win at Bramall Lane tomorrow night first though.

This time last week I would have said we had no chance of beating you but we certainly do after the change of managers. Saturday was a lot of peoples favourite game of the season and the change of passion, tactics and confidence was there to see. Morgan hasn't been giving enough imo sadly but we can make it interesting by putting pressure on the teams around us starting tomorrow night.

Shame I can't make the game. But, the postponement has probably meant we will get a better result tomorrow night!

Even if Watford win, a point's good enough for Cardiff.

This is true long as long as Cardiff don't lose then it won't matter what Watford do

Just bought my ticket for the Donny game next Saturday. I'm going to be a messy bag of nerves until 5pm that day. Starting now. I've completely fallen apart ahead of travelling to Sheffield tonight!

Clubs relegated from the Premier League will receive in excess of £60m over a four-year period from next season after the Premier League agreed new parachute payments for the next three years.

The Premier League is yet to confirm the exact figure, while the issue of solidarity payments to the Football League clubs is still to be finalised.

Clubs relegated to the Championship currently receive £48m over four years.

Anyone else think this is nuts? Basically means clubs relegated get a £15mil advantage over rivals.

Tbh I don't quite understand why parachute payments are so large?

I'd imagine it is something to do with teams not being able to rapidly reduce their wage bill in their 1st season or so and without the TV money ect from playing in the prem.

Can't wait for the game tonight. Tough away fixture at Leicester, right now I'd love a point and for Cardiff to win so that our fixture has no meaning to them.

Just make it a league rule that all contracts must have a relegation clause which kicks in if relegated?
