Just wondering how you guys formatted your personal statement.
Did you leave a line between paragraphs, or just indent?

UCAS removes indents so if you want to seperate paragraphs leave a line, I did.

And also, I can't underline on mine.
Is that true for you too?
I can't justify or center either....

u'd think in this day an age, they would have simple things like that....
i just take it for granted

Yes thats normal, UCAS removes all formatting so that your PS is readable and that you cant get a leg up on the competition just because you can do some fancy moves on a word processor, tough but fair.

Is it really important to like format all of the personal statement and stuff, cause I really can't afford to lose anymore characters as mine's already 130 words too long...
any suggestions?

So, where you do paragraphs would you just go onto the next line or leave a whole line inbetween paragraphs?

I just rewrote to make sure that each of my paragraphs finished half way across a line, so that it was obvious where each paragraph ended hehe

I just put blank lines, but then my re-worded second draft was about 6 or so lines under the limit so I could affort to.

This is most probably mentioned somewhere but it's 3 in the morning and I can't be bothered to look. How many words or lines should the personal statement be?
