Ah. In that case I dunno! Sorry!
Can't you just go take a look in Boots and see what they have? There must be something suitable.

I just use Veet. There are different types of Veet for different places on your body (although I think I bought the normal one... doesn't make much of a difference).

*goes to check*

Yep, the normal Veet. A greenish carton, says it's moisterising and with Aloë Vera.

I use sensitive veet for almost everything, but try not to get the cream onto *particularly sensitive* bits, so I shave whats left when the cream has done its thing. The pack says you can use the cream for your bikini line and not to attempt to use it on the aforementioned *particularly sensitive* bits (i.e. the rest), but I'm pretty sure all they mean by that is not to get any cream inside you. Well in any case, I've never had any problems.

Be sure to do a sensitivity test of the cream somewhere else first! I tried another brand, nair, and didn't try it out on my legs first - it was the most painful thing ever and I was covered in a rash for a week afterwards. Not a beautiful place to have a rash, nor the most comfortable, so you should be 100% certain you aren't allergic to a new brand before smearing it all over the place.

you can get a sensitive nair one, I found it was pretty good, guess it's a personal thing who reacts to what.

Reply 7

yes, I was just shocked to discover there was such a difference from one brand to the next, I didn't mean to suggest nair was a horrible product, just that I had a bad experience. Of course the box SAYS to test a small area 24 hours in advance but honestly, who does that, right? Well, I certainly learned my lesson!

once you go brazilian, you can never go back. (ever see the sex and the city episode where they go to cali?)

Reply 9

I'm gonna try Veet sensitive before I go on holiday as chickened out of waxing.

It's less smooth. If you're gonna do your bikini line and you don't want any stubble after 1 day or after shaving, you use cream and you really feel it being smooth it's nicer.

Agreed. While waxing is great and lasts, depilitary cream is faster and pain free. Suggested ones are:
Boots Sensitive Hair Remover
Nair Raziere (Sensitive)
i.e. anything sensitive. DOn't get it on your inner bits, side bits (oh this sounds so awful) is fine, but inside them could be pain city. Don't do it. I have. You cannot pee cos of the pain.
Make sure you either a)clip your hair first or b)put bucket loads on. Then wait your minutes etc and jump in shower with exfoiliating glovies on and scrub away. I find this lasts 3 days hair free and 2 days passable i.e. man on galloping horse would not notice as my mother says.

Boys love it. Hell boys should do it too!!

well if you don't like waxing you can always use imac?

I personally can't use the stuff because my skin is way too sensative, i can't even use the sensative stuff!

Reply 14

I just shave it all ff it lasts 3 days then i do it again it used to itch but i could never ever go back now!

I love love that episode hehe (and every episode  )

Um, waxing is definitely best but I understand you not wanting to
Nads is a good cream to use (albeit a little expensive) and the pack comes with a flannel to err, remove the hair. Louis Marcel also do a cream in a spray on format which is a lot easy to apply than your standard sachet of veet and similar.

Well, this thread is one helluva lot better than the LGBTSoc one.

Normally I'd have to walk into a girls loo to hear this kind of stuff :P

hate it when my gf shaves down below. she always 'trims' and it feels so itchy/scratchy when she tries to cuddle up in bed.

I think i may gop the cream route now. Ive tried shaving - but my hair grows so fast there is no point. I tried waxing my legs with those veet ready to use ones. they arent as easy as they look. I swear you need two people to stop those strips rolling up on to eachother and stuff. God knows how youd do that down there!!!
