    In one week i have to do an osmosis write up. But i dont even know how to do the experiment!!!! HELP
    I have to find the water potential of apple tissue.

    Right, use sucrose solution every 20% then weigh the apple before and put it in solution for 30 minutes-1 hour. Then weigh after. Work out percentage weight difference.

    Plot graph. When no mass change is seen then it is the sucrose amount inside the apple. Multiply it by -25. Then you have your water potential.

    Scirntific bit, put the stuff in the text book. That will get you full marks.

    No real reason. Just international standards.
