Im not sure how the system works from the time it takes for you to get your A-LEVEL results and the time it then takes for your acceptance to come through but I was just curious if anybody massaged the truth slightly or even if the cause may be lied outrageously on there ucas forms and got accepted on there preferred university courses. Did any body actually get there ucas forms double checked and get caught out?

I don’t know little stuff like writing that you love yachting on your Ucas form and in a interview at Oxbridge saying you can’t swim or something lol basically forgetting any lil in your Ucas application.

    Bumping up GCSE grades?
Adding in extra curricular things just to fill the space (community work etc)

I was honest because I didn't NEED to lie
I was a little sparing with the truth in one tiny bit of my Oxford interview...
But never lie outright - bloody stupid idea

    I was 100% honest.

I would tell the truth, as they might do random checks. If they checked yours, your application might be cancelled.
