No. But I would love it if my drink got spiked with some E or something.

Yes twice.

First time I went from being fine to being paralytic and really sick in the space of about an hour despite only having one glass of wine, and the only other person who got in that state was the one sharing the wine with me. Originally thought it was just the wine but turned out the person throwing the house party thought it'd be grand to spike our wine with gin, chilli flavoured vodka and some other stuff.

Second time I don't know what happened but was in a club. I was at the bar and was speaking to someone there for a good 20 mins after buying my drink and I was stupid enough not to keep an eye out, so half an hour after that drink was consumed (this btw was first drink of the night and I'm not a lightweight when it comes to WKD, put it that way!) I practically passed out right there and then, waking up the next day in my bed feeling really drowsy and not knowing what happened.

Was horrible, horrible, horrible.
I was in a club and just felt quite dizzy and a bit sick, so I sat down. Luckily I have good friends and my friend got me a drink of water, while she was at the bar I threw up (nearly over my friend's shoes). We were close to the toilets so I somehow managed to make my way over there. My friend who's shoes I nearly threw up on didn't follow me. So I was on my own in the toilets and threw up again all over the floor. Went into the toilet cubicle. Threw up again. Kind of blanked out/don't really know what happened. I think I may have passed out in the toilet. My friend said I couldn't stand up by myself and my eyes were rolling or something? My friend went to get help, and my other friend was meant to stay with me but she went off somewhere. So I hid in the toilet cubicle, security came in looking for me and I hid (don't really know why?!?) I stayed in there for ages. My friend phoned my Mum who came to pick me up. At first she thought it was from the alcohol, but I'd only had two drinks. Woke up the next morning with a banging headache. It all happened so quickly (well... over the space of an hour maybe), my memory from it's a bit blurry, so most of that's what my friend has told me. Except me hiding from security, I remember that.

I was feeling perfectly sober- I'd had a couple of vodkas. Then I was bought a vodka and lemonade. I don't remember anything after that, but according to my friends who I was with, I was talking to someone, stopped suddenly, closed my eyes and fell backwards into a table of glasses and then onto the floor. A friend helped me onto a chair and I was totally out of it, then turned over and threw up everywhere. They took me home- literally carried me- still throwing up. I remember finishing throwing up in my room and then going to sleep. I don't usually forget nights out, even if I drink alot, but it's like my memory ends and there's not even any vague 'oh i sort of remember that bit' in between then and finishing vomiting. Very weird.

I do question some of the 'I had my drink spiked' stories that keep appearing on these forums.

I mean; Wheres the motive? in 99% of these such threads the girl is spiked in a club, almost passes out and then gets carried home by her friends. Surely any would-be spiker is better off spiking your coke whilst you're out alone in a cafe/park/anywhere from which they could actually do something afterwards.

And we never hear of the girl who was spiked in the bar with the thread starting "I was only drinking non-alcoholic drinks that night..". Every thread has alcohol involved and the girl trying to claim she isnt a lightweight. Hmm.

Yes and it was a horrific experience.
I was about 19 or 20 and only had a glass of wine or two. I started to feel really weird and then started rambling and grinding my teeth.
I nearly passed out and started projectile vomiting like "Regan from the Exorcist." Some idiot skin-head passer by pointed that out.
Then I started bashing my head against a bus shelter.
Now, I never, ever act like that when I've had a drink. I'm quite giggly, but not in any way outrageous.

Think it must have been Speed.

I could have been pregnant, an epileptic. Flipping idiots.

I think people spike other people's drink mainly for the fun of it. I imagine they find it funny to sit back and watch someone become out of control.
I think they spike alcoholic drinks because, like you said, it could be blamed on alcohol.

I know for a fact that after a small glass (and I'm talking 125ml) that I'm not going to start banging my head against a bus shelter and projectile vomiting if I haven't been spiked.

In 99% of these cases, its girls that cant handle their drink and want something to blame.
Or girls that drink too much, sleep with a guy then claim they spiked their drink.

Its gone from "a glass of wine or two" to deffinatly "a (1?) small glass".

See the problem with all of these type of stories? Too many irregularities. While im not saying you definatly wernt spiked; there could be many reasons for vomiting.

How can you not notice chilli vodka and gin in one glass of wine?

Agreed.

I also question how hard is it really to watch your drink?

My mates spiked my malibu and coke with Ecstasy because they wanted me to 'have more fun' last new years' and they were all doing it. It was amazing though, and I'm glad they did it :L

Reply 14

Haha, I have friends (female, I might add) who claim their drinks have been spiked after EVERY NIGHT OUT.

So, there's either a drink-spiking pandemic, or a lot of girls just use it as an excuse for not being able to handle their drinks.

Surely you would be a bigger idiot if you were drinking while pregnant? I'm just saying....

Me and two mates saw a guy spike ours in Bratislava. We were in some dingy club and thought ****,and quickly got out of there.
Was quite scary thinking he had seen us,wait for us to walk over to put our coats down and then slip what looked like pills in our drinks.Like the hostel...

My friend did at a festival.
We were all pretty much sober having a great time, then all of a sudden she was absolutely paralytic, and was falling all over the place. She kept throwing up and we had to take her home, it was pretty scary.

Begs the question, do you have any taste buds?

Heck, even a wine glass of neat vodka is only 10 shots, not exactly enough to make anyone paralytic.

Nope.
